The community subsists on less than $1 per person per day. At enormous personal sacrifice, Pastor Steven and his wife have also adopted 20 orphans - who live with them and their 2 other children. Paedophilia Priests should not overshadow good works
 Pope Benedict XVI has defended the church in the light of recent sex scandals. He has acknowledged the 'bad seeds' in the priesthood - but said that the church does tremendous work amongst young people that should not be forgotten. He said the weeds "exist even in the bosom of the church and among
those whom the Lord has welcomed into his service in a special way."
However, the good ministry of the majority of priests should be celebrated and supported. |
