Thousands of people have threatened to commit suicide after watching Avatar, it has been revealed. The website Avatar Forums has has topic entitled 'Ways to cope with the depression of the dream of Pandor being intangible' and, so far, it has received in excess of 1,00 posts.

Another forum has the post, "Whe I woke up this morning after watching Avatar, the world seemed grey. It just seems so meaningless." Someone else wrote, "I still don't really see any reason to keep doing things at all. I live in a dying world." On a third site, someone wrote, "I even contemplate suicide thinking that if I do it I will be rebirthed in a world similar to Pandora."
