Pastor Steven Turikunkiko has set up a community in Rwanda for victims of the genocide. 160 widows & teenagers & 80 younger children live with him; farming, sharing their lives and caring for those dying from AIDS. The community subsists on less than $1 per person per day. At enormous personal sacrifice, Pastor Steven and his wife have also adopted 20 orphans - who live with them and their 2 other children. Archbishop's warning on the environment
He has urged humanity to repent of our behaviour and seek a better way to live in harmony with creation. If we did not, God would not guarantee a happy ending. He has not questioned God's unending love for us - but only the fact that he would not overrule our "terrible freedom". Greenpeace have welcomed the Archbishop's speech. |

If humanity continues to wreck Planet Earth, God will not intervene. That is the message from the Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Williams.
