The community subsists on less than $1 per person per day. At enormous personal sacrifice, Pastor Steven and his wife have also adopted 20 orphans - who live with them and their 2 other children. The UN are concerned for the children of Gaza, saying their human rights are being seriously violated. The Un Committee on the Rights of the Child has reported on the deaths and wounding of hundreds of Palestinian children in recent weeks.
