An Heroic Ministry
Introducing Pastor Steven from Rwanda:

Pastor Steven

Pastor Steven Turikunkiko has set up a community in Rwanda for victims of the genocide. 160 widows & teenagers & 80 younger children live with him; farming, sharing their lives and caring for those dying from AIDS. The community subsists on less than $1 per person per day.

At enormous personal sacrifice, Pastor Steven and his wife have also adopted 20 orphans - who live with them and their 2 other children.

Eyes on the stormBetween 70,000-200,000 people died in the cyclone in Burma this year. Christian Aid are playing a key role in providing for the survivors and helping to rebuild the society there.

To encourage involvement in this, Christian Aid have launched an exciting resource pack called Eyes on the Storm. There are timeline resources, postcards with info and activities and a DVD of other resources, including a rap from Jahaziel.

All in all, this resource is an excellent way for your youth group to engage positively with the Burma disaster.

For more information, or to order the pack, go to
