The community subsists on less than $1 per person per day. At enormous personal sacrifice, Pastor Steven and his wife have also adopted 20 orphans - who live with them and their 2 other children. Palestinian teenager shot by Israeli troops
The Israeli army spokesman claims that the shooting was an act of self-defence. The boy who died, Suhaib Saleh, lost his brother in a shooting six years ago. Allegedly, his brother had shot and wounded two Israeli soldiers during that incident.

A 14-year old Palestinian boy was shot dead on Saturday in Nablus. Israeli troops have claimed that he was holding a petrol bomb at the time.
