Pastor Steven

Pastor Steven Turikunkiko has set up a community in Rwanda for victims of the genocide. 160 widows & teenagers & 80 younger children live with him; farming, sharing their lives and caring for those dying from AIDS. The community subsists on less than $1 per person per day.

At enormous personal sacrifice, Pastor Steven and his wife have also adopted 20 orphans - who live with them and their 2 other children.

Fraudulent pastor under investigation

Australia flagPolice may investigate the finances of disgraced pastor, Michael Guglielmucci. Some people are concerned about money raised by him during his fraudulent claim to have cancer.

For two years, Michael Guglielmucci pretended to have cancer. During this time, he scored a massive hit with his song 'Healer', written about his 'experience' with a terminal illness. The song was included on the latest Hillsong CD. He has recently confessed the fraud and has been removed from ministry.

Guglielmucci was a pastor with Planetshakers. His widely-publicised battle with cancer has been a source of hope and inspiration for young people worldwide. His wife and family are reportedly unaware of the deception. None of them are available for comment at this time.
