Scout leader dies on climbing trip
A young Scout leader fell to his death this week on a climbing trip
Moore's mother has released a statement, saying, "The last text I had from him said, 'one more walk and then I will have done everything I wanted to do'. We know right up until the last minute or so before he died he was probably at his absolute happiest. We feel that those last two weeks of his life were probably absolutely fantastic and he was really happy." The trip to Liechtenstein had been organised by Hertfordshire Scouts.

The Scout Association has confirmed the death of 21-year old Thomas Moore, from Stevenage, Hertfordshire. He went missing on a climbing trip in Liechtenstein. Although with a group, Moore had gone off on his own to climb some other ridges. His body was found at the bottom of a ravine. It is thought that Moore had fallen 1,000ft (309m) to his death.
