Pastor Steven Turikunkiko has set up a community in Rwanda for victims of the genocide. 160 widows & teenagers & 80 younger children live with him; farming, sharing their lives and caring for those dying from AIDS. The community subsists on less than $1 per person per day. At enormous personal sacrifice, Pastor Steven and his wife have also adopted 20 orphans - who live with them and their 2 other children. Pro-anorexia sites criticised
Social networking sites, such as Facebook and MySpace, are being criticised for not doing enough to discourage the use of pro-anorexia sites. The charity 'B-eat' has said that 'pro-ana' sites are still really popular and they are often promoted (knowingly or not) by users of social networking sites. A spokesman for MySpace said that they are working with charities and medical organisations to deal with the problem of pro-ana sites. Over 1.1 million people in the UK suffer from eating disorders.
