Pastor Steven Turikunkiko has set up a community in Rwanda for victims of the genocide. 160 widows & teenagers & 80 younger children live with him; farming, sharing their lives and caring for those dying from AIDS. The community subsists on less than $1 per person per day. At enormous personal sacrifice, Pastor Steven and his wife have also adopted 20 orphans - who live with them and their 2 other children. 71% of pupils are bullies
The survey was carried out between 2005 and 2007. arious reasons were given for bullying: - if they didn't do it first, others would bully them - because their friends did it - anger at another student - because it would make them popular
Bullying was defined, for the survey, as "being bullied twice a week over a period of six months and involving more than two types of bullying" |

Beatbullying, a UK charity, has done some research amongst 3,000 secondary school pupils. Incredibly, 71.4% admitted that they had bullied or picked on other students. Teachers have responded by saying that they are not surprised - but think that schools deal effectively with the problem.
